What is a Joelette?

A Joelette is similar to a palanquin or litter, a portable chair carried on long poles with one supporting wheel.

The Joelette creates the possibility for people with a motor disorder to explore nature, forests and the great outdoors. It gives opportunities for people with reduced mobility to plan their own path up hill and down dale without caring about the obstacles of nature.

Joëlettes can be used simply for walks with family and friends. But they can also be used for more adventurous hiking and even ½ marathon runs. Three Joelettes even hiked Mount Ventoux!
